The Facility

After having carried out the chemical-physical analysis of the soil, from which the type of soil, the presence of nutritional elements and therefore, what type of basic fertilization is necessary, we move on to the real operational phase, which consists of : - possible uprooting of the existing vineyard; - leveling of the ground; - provision of drainage (to avoid risks associated with climatic and pedological factors found in excess water and humidity); - basic fertilization (chemical and organic, to improve any anomalies in the soil substances); - preparation of the ground for the plant; - operations of refinement of the soil in view of the planting of the cuttings. In principle, the recommended periods for planting are spring, especially in Northern Italy, summer and autumn only where conditions allow it (in Italy, for example, from Emilia downwards.) The most widespread implantation technique is certainly the use of transplanters.
